• The length and bell cuff of this gauntlet mitt covers your wrists and fits over the sleeve of your jacket to keep that winter weather off your skin. The combination of the full grain leathers and the thermal acrylic fleece pile lining keeps your hands warm. Our mitts and gauntlets have been tested to -35° for exceptional warmth. The liner is removable, washable and replaceable.
• We’ve chosen our 3 fave full grain leathers for this gauntlet. The soft and buttery feel of our deerskin provides you a flexible fit with great dexterity where the moose hide and buffalo hide leathers are heavier and thicker and offer a more rugged performance. If you suffer from Raynaud’s Disease or frostbite, turn to these gauntlets for your winters choice of hand protection.
• We suggest applying a good quality leather spray to your items to add longevity and to water proof the item if needed. We do not recommend using Dubbin Oil. The bright colour leathers we use 'might' have some colour transfer. Don't be alarmed by this, this is normal and there is nothing to be worried about. The tannery has worked hard to getting the colours right through the leather, and not just applied to the surface.
